Featured products will support improved dosing, administration, and medication adherence

Berry Global Healthcare, an expert in creating patient-centred package design, will showcase its latest range of standard and bespoke pharmaceutical packaging solutions at Pharmapack 2024. At the event, customers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of products designed to help patients dose better and hear from Berry’s experts about its contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) service for fast-to-market healthcare devices and packaging.

At Berry’s stand, attendees can have an up-close look at products designed as part of the company’s ‘Dose Better’ initiative to deliver patient-centred packaging and drug delivery devices that enhance dosing, administration, and medication adherence. Included among these products will be Berry’s Pneumohaler, a lightweight, breath-actuated, multidose inhaler dose counter for the control and treatment of Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD); Risdrop, a unique patented ophthalmic nozzle for safe, consistent, and reliable drug delivery to the exact location in the eye; and the Berry Digi-Cap™ child-resistant closure that integrates innovative digital technology to improve medication adherence.

The exhibition will also see the launch of the BerryHaler, an all-plastic, dual chamber, dry powder inhaler (DPI) designed to deliver combination drugs and separately store two medications for subsequent simultaneous inhalation.

In addition, the Berry stand will highlight the company’s fully integrated CDMO service to provide customers with complete end-to-end solutions, from product conceptualization through manufacturing to final packaging. This service helps ensure speed to market of customised drug delivery products that meet specific customer requirements and evolving healthcare needs.

With sustainability as another key requirement for many pharmaceutical companies’ new packaging and medical device specifications, Berry will present a sustainability workshop as part of Pharmapack’s events programme. Achieving More Together: How Collaborative Action Drives Innovation and Circularity in Healthcare Packaging, which takes place on the first day of the exhibition (11.15am, Rooms 725 & 726), will focus on how companies can achieve both environmental sustainability and patient wellbeing through innovative drug delivery solutions, with practical strategies for creating sustainable and effective medical and pharmaceutical packaging.
