Our primary objective is to maximise shareholder value and generate attractive long term returns on the capital employed in the business through the manufacture and sale of rigid plastic packaging in Europe.

 

We focus our efforts on those sections of the industry where we have strong positions: for example, injection moulded personal care packaging, margarine tubs, multi-layer sheet, tubs and bottles for oxygen sensitive foods, single serve coffee systems and containers for surface coatings. In these sectors, we seek to consolidate the industry and to give our customers good service in part by providing innovative high quality packaging.

 

 

RPC is the leading supplier of rigid plastic packaging in Europe, with manufacturing operations in 12 countries of the European Union and one in the USA. Our product range spans all forms of rigid plastic packaging in use today, namely injection moulded packs, and thermoformed packs, sheet, and extrusion blow-moulded packs as well as injection-blown and injection-stretch-blown packs.

 

Our plants typically convert granules of polymer into finished packaging by a combination of moulding and assembly processes; these may or may not then be decorated by printing or label application thereby adding considerable value to the product. Normally we aim to add all this value in-house but, on occasions, we have to buy in components or services – for example some tooling and computer software.

 

Our customers range from the largest multi-national companies like Unilever, Kraft, Nestlé and Procter & Gamble to local ‘one-man’ operators. Our objective is to give all our customers good service and quality, and thereby to retain their custom.
